Rebecca Saitz
Bio
Rebecca Saitz completed the Washington State Bar Association’s APR Rule 6 Law Clerk apprenticeship program, in lieu of traditional law school. She is licensed to practice in Washington, and primarily focuses on family law, basic estates planning, and probates. Rebecca also has prior experience in special education and disability law, and completed several special education advocate courses through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA). Rebecca’s background in special education and advocacy provides a unique perspective on human dynamics and relationships. She understands that each case is unique and values the insights of her clients, colleagues, and mentors. She is an alumna of Florida Atlantic University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a dual focus on cognitive development and social/personality development. Rebecca then went on to graduate with a combined Ed.S/M.S (Counseling in Human Services with a specialization in School Psychology) from The Florida State University, with additional graduate education in sports psychology at Barry University. In addition to volunteering on the Youth & Justice Forum Committee, Rebecca is the Vice President of the local Young Lawyer’s Association, Secretary of the Benton Franklin Counties Bar Association, Board Member of Benton Franklin Legal Aid, Benton County Local Rules Committee Member, and Presenter/Member of the Benton Franklin Law Day and K-12 Law Day Committees. Rebecca enjoys triathlons/road running events, hiking, and coaching youth volleyball.
